T.V.s are Made for Decorating!

We've been moving things around on our showroom floor a little this week. We've needed to fill in places where things have sold and make room for a few new pieces that have come in. We love rearranging our furniture and accessories and finding pieces that work together so well with so many others. When we sold a large item last week we needed to fill a space and found the perfect fit with these Portabello Baker Racks and the Nils Plasma Stand that we showed you last time. These steel framed racks are made with reclaimed wood and are great paired or standing alone. There is tons of shelf space to display your favorite books,  family photos, and accessories! 

Since we're on the subject of displaying your T.V. with a beautiful piece of furniture, let us show you the Miramar Plasmas Stand that recently arrived! Made with solid Indian hardwood and glass-front sliding doors, this table is ideal for your plasma and big enough for a few accessories to dress it up a bit!

Who's Ready for Summer?!

Summer is only days away!! Kids are getting out of school, graduations are being celebrated, trips are planned, pool and beach days are just on the horizon! And we recently got a shipment of some of our most popular staples and a few fun new pieces! So, all around, things are looking good!

Kush Furniture Company makes this great Twin Captain Bed with trundle drawers to store extra linens, pillows, books, toys, and more. Or choose a trundle bed for those slumber party guests! Remember this post?? Well...it's baaaack!! We adore the Brompton Leather Sofa by Robert Michael and are so happy to have it back on our floor. The 45" deep, down-filled cushions say "Naptime!" And, while napping during store hours on the showroom floor is strongly discouraged, we do invite you to come in and sink in for a little test. This is the ideal cuddling couch and just what you need for all those family movie nights this summer!

And, while we're on the subject of comfy sitting, check out Robert Michael's Luxurious Leather Chair! A perfect place to sit with your summer read and, like the sofa, is down-filled, 8-way hand tied and made in the USA! 

If you've been following our blog or been into our store, you know how much we enjoy repurposed items. Especially when we find a one-of-a-kind piece like this Fantastic Wood Wheel Coffee Table. This unique 48" table is made from a wagon wheel that not only looks beautiful but is sure to be a conversation starter! Notice, in the picture below, the axle on the underside!

Another example of the fabulousness that can come from repurposing, are the Nils Plasma Stand (68x20x26) and matching 8-drawer Nils Coffee Table (54x32x18). With lots of storage (for magazines, remote controls, books, movies, coasters, etc) and natural warm and cool tones in the reclaimed wood,  these charming items are functional and unique!

Comfort, style, and versatility come together in this fabulous sofa! This time, though, we mixed it up a little. For our newest floor sample of the Kingston, we had them make it with squared arms.  We are so thrilled with the fresh, sleek new look that gives this wonderful sectional a more modern and casual style. So thrilled, in fact, that we thought it deserved to star in it's very own blog post. ;)
