Wendy's Favorite Things!!

Up next in our series of favorite things, Chartreuse owner, Wendy! Since she hand-picks each piece that we carry in the store, narrowing down her favorites was not an easy task. When decorating a space, Wendy loves to make sure there are several different textures and always likes to add a surprise factor! 

#1- LEE sofas

Wendy has so many wonderful things to say about LEE Industries and their products, especially their sofas. In fact, she has a LEE sectional in her own home and calls it "incredibly comfortable". She loves the transitional style that is comparable to designs by Anthropologie and Restoration Hardware with hundreds of fabric choices for every lifestyle. And as a bonus, Wendy appreciates their green philosophy. 

#2- Heron Anthology prints

Of the many, many prints we just got in stock, Wendy loves these audubon society-inspired prints so much she had to hang them right next to her desk. They are great for adding a pop of color and sophistication.

#3- Wire candle holders
The versatility and uniqueness of these pieces are what Wendy likes most. In her words, "they are just so unusual!" We're using them as candle holders in the store but they can really stand alone as décor that will definitely serve as a conversation piece.  

#4- Stedman Chandelier

This chandelier, made of iron and repurposed glass bottles, is another one of those special pieces that caught Wendy's eye. She loves that it looks elegant yet offers the element of surprise in its unique design.

#5- The Reseda Lamps

Two of Wendy's top design criteria are versatility and texture and with these lamp you get both! The architectural and eclectic style of the carved wood with the linen shade provides different textures that give a space depth and interest. Since they are tall, yet narrow, they are perfect for a mantle, desk, or console table!

Cheryl's Favorite Things!

It's Cheryl's turn to share her favorite things with us! Cheryl joined the Chartreuse team about 8 years ago working part time until mom-life got a little too busy. But she couldn't stay away for long and has recently rejoined the team! Most of Cheryl's favorite things have recently been sold but fortunately her list is long enough so here are her top 5 on the floor...

#1- Frasier Fir collection

The fresh, pine scent of these candles will fill your home with a holiday feel! The candles are available in  votives, single-wick, three-wick, and a decorative red, glass! Also part of the collection, is hand soap and lotion and a room spray. Cheryl loves to give these as hostess gifts during the holidays!

#2 - Wood Bench Coffee Table

Cheryl loves this one-of-a-kind, repurposed wood table. It measures 67x21x18 and looks great in front of our Chartreuse sofa! 

#3 - Ford Barstools

Cheryl's favorite thing about these iron and reclaimed wood barstools are how they easily adjust for the perfect height to fit your bar, table, or island countertop.

This 23x23x17 ottoman is perfect to add style, as well as extra, seating and Cheryl especially likes the Lisbon Green fabric shown below.

Nickie's Favorite Things!

Nickie is next on our list to share her favorite things with us! Narrowing it down was tough for Nickie so she decided to share some of her favorite "Mommy Must Haves"! Being the mother of two girls, she values items that make stylish living comfortable and stain-resistant! 

#1- Key Largo 100% polyester microfiber

This fabric has a linen-like texture, comes in a wide variety of colors, cleans so easily, and is fade proof! We recently featured a couple of ottomans upholstered with this beautiful fabric here. And Nickie has microfiber on her Chartreuse sectional. She raves about it's durability saying, "We are all over it every day and it still looks new!"

#2- Dash & Albert Indoor/Outdoor Rugs

We introduced these rugs about six months ago and Nickie immediately fell in love! She was even more impressed when she got them home and found out just how cleanable they are. Nickie has one on her patio and another in her kitchen and can testify that marinara sauce and teriyaki sauce will hose right off!

#3- Kush bedroom furniture

Nickie's youngest daughter, Kennedy, has this desk, dresser, and nightstand and loves it! And Nickie loves that it's cleanable (do you sense a theme?) and is still in great condition! 

#4- Reclaimed Wood Subway Art

Nickie loves the way this piece brings recaptures memories of when she sang this song to and with her girls and adds a bit of personality to a space!

#5- West 3rd Soy Candles

Like every mom, Nickie works hard during the day. So after tucking the kids in, there's no better way to relax than to light a candle and perhaps enjoy a glass of wine. Nickie's choice of candle are these hand poured, clean burning, deliciously scented soy candles!
