Nickie's Favorite Things!

Nickie is next on our list to share her favorite things with us! Narrowing it down was tough for Nickie so she decided to share some of her favorite "Mommy Must Haves"! Being the mother of two girls, she values items that make stylish living comfortable and stain-resistant! 

#1- Key Largo 100% polyester microfiber

This fabric has a linen-like texture, comes in a wide variety of colors, cleans so easily, and is fade proof! We recently featured a couple of ottomans upholstered with this beautiful fabric here. And Nickie has microfiber on her Chartreuse sectional. She raves about it's durability saying, "We are all over it every day and it still looks new!"

#2- Dash & Albert Indoor/Outdoor Rugs

We introduced these rugs about six months ago and Nickie immediately fell in love! She was even more impressed when she got them home and found out just how cleanable they are. Nickie has one on her patio and another in her kitchen and can testify that marinara sauce and teriyaki sauce will hose right off!

#3- Kush bedroom furniture

Nickie's youngest daughter, Kennedy, has this desk, dresser, and nightstand and loves it! And Nickie loves that it's cleanable (do you sense a theme?) and is still in great condition! 

#4- Reclaimed Wood Subway Art

Nickie loves the way this piece brings recaptures memories of when she sang this song to and with her girls and adds a bit of personality to a space!

#5- West 3rd Soy Candles

Like every mom, Nickie works hard during the day. So after tucking the kids in, there's no better way to relax than to light a candle and perhaps enjoy a glass of wine. Nickie's choice of candle are these hand poured, clean burning, deliciously scented soy candles!

Jenelle's Favorite Things!

Welcome to our new series of favorite things! In our next few posts one of the Chartreuse ladies will feature 5 of her favorite things in the store! Jenelle started us off today with her picks. Jenelle has been part of the team for 6 years working part time, filling in when needed, and lending her styling expertise to staging the floor. Our floor needs constant rearranging to fill in space when items are sold or make room for fabulous new pieces. That's where Jenelle comes in! Just moving a few pieces or adding one great new accessory can completely change the look of a space and she does it best! Jenelle especially loves Chartreuse's furnishings and accessories because "they help make your home special! You can get unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. It's better than buying at other stores where everyone else will have the same one in their home."

 #1- The Manhattan Chair

Jenelle's 3-year-old calls this "the cozy chair". She put this chair in her kitchen to provide a comfortable place to sit with a glass of wine and read a book after putting her little guy down for the night.

#2- Succulent Wreath

These wreaths are new to the store and Jenelle loves the rustic, organic look! She couldn't decide whether she liked the smaller, square ones or the large round one so we posted both!

#3- The Sugarboo Leather Album

We are so happy that this beautiful, vintage-looking photo album is being featured! Each page displays one photo with a heartwarming quote and Jenelle can't wait to take one home and fill it with her favorite pictures!

#4- Glass Initial Bottles

Although not new to the shop, Jenelle has always loved these repurposed bottles that can only be found here!

#5- Galvanized metal accessories

We carry a variety of pieces made with galvanized metal and Jenelle is a big fan! She especially enjoys the vintage framed letters and lanterns shown below. Use just one letter to display your family initial or several to spell a name or favorite word!

 Both of these pieces are classic favorites in our store and have many options for upholstered and leather material. And now they are offered in the great Key Largo polyester fabric shown above! This beautiful, cleanable fabric comes in a variety of colors including Mocha (ottoman) and Teal (cubes) and gives a textured but tailored look while still being soft and comfortable!

This La Brea Storage Ottoman is an excellent way to add that stylish function we were talking about!  Also available in a number of colors and fabrics, this piece works great at the end of a bed or along the back of a sofa to store extra blankets, pillows, or memorabilia. 

 We love the touch of flair that the Julian Bench with burlap upholstered seat adds to the end of this bed! But its versatile style provides so many other options for this lovely bench, including, adding charm to a dining room, entry way, patio, office, or living room.

T.V.s are Made for Decorating!

We've been moving things around on our showroom floor a little this week. We've needed to fill in places where things have sold and make room for a few new pieces that have come in. We love rearranging our furniture and accessories and finding pieces that work together so well with so many others. When we sold a large item last week we needed to fill a space and found the perfect fit with these Portabello Baker Racks and the Nils Plasma Stand that we showed you last time. These steel framed racks are made with reclaimed wood and are great paired or standing alone. There is tons of shelf space to display your favorite books,  family photos, and accessories!
